They have 1.5 inch deep, mirrored sides so will fit with your decor when viewed from all sides.

Do canvas prints look like paintings?

Canvas prints may lack the paint build-up of some hand painted originals but the cotton or polyester material provides a natural texture which helps give a level of authenticity, you’ll often not be able to tell the difference.

Do canvas prints look good?

Yes, absolutely! They look stylish and will add a flair to your home decor. If you’re in search of a wall print to decorate your living room, bedroom, kitchen or office space then there’s bound to be a canvas art print for you.

Are canvas art prints tacky?

If you mean sticky and tacky to the touch then no.
If you mean tasteless and lacking in style, again no!
They’re a popular way of displaying artwork, the traditional stretched canvas with its clean crisp look will enhance any room.

Will canvas posters and prints fade?

This depends on the quality of the inks and the canvas. Ours are printed with archival inks on high quality, acid-free, ph-neutral, fade-resistant canvas – prints that will last for generations.

Can you clean canvas prints?

Yes, simply use a clean damp cloth to spot clean and remove any dust. It’s best to keep away from harsh chemicals yourself so if your canvas print gets a nasty stain have a word with an art specialist.

Are canvas art prints waterproof?

No, you don’t want to be putting your canvas print underwater! Even if the canvas itself isn’t damaged, the wooden stretcher bars will be. High quality prints like ours are water-resistant though and can cope somewhat with more humid rooms like a kitchen. If you want waterproof prints then have a look at our metal prints and acrylic prints.

Are canvas prints suitable for bathrooms?

Ideally you want to keep your canvas prints out of damp and humid environments like bathrooms and kitchens if you want them to last the longest time. Having said that, if it’s a larger room and you can maintain good circulation then high quality prints like we offer on Tina Lewis Art should be okay.

Can canvas prints be hung outside?

No. You don’t want to hang your artwork in direct sunlight that would cause the inks to fade. Neither do you want to hang them in areas with fluctuating temperatures or where they’d be exposed to the elements.

Can you frame canvas prints?

Canvas art pieces on Tina Lewis Art come with printed sides to give a clean, modern, minimalist feel. We don’t sell framed canvas prints here but our canvas prints can certainly be framed to give a traditional feel if that’s what you like.

How to hang canvas prints?

Our canvas art prints come fitted with mounting brackets for quick and easy installation in your home. Simply secure a nail to your chosen position and hang the canvas using the mounting bracket.
