This print is taken from an original acrylic painting made en plein air of a stack of hay bales in the English countryside.

A gentle hill lies in the background, its green fields bordered by hedgerow. Just in front of the hill is a red brick farmhouse. You can just make out the windows and the grey slate roof, and is that a chimney?

In the foreground is the yellow field, its hay harvested and formed into a wall of bale bricks. A light blue sky completes this rustic scene of a Indian Summer evening in the English countryside.
