Social Distance Sitting with Mask Painting
A lone figure sits with hands over knees, a light blue mask shielding their face. They stand alone, or at least no-one else is near them, against an abstract background. Perhaps they are social distancing? This is the new normal, keep 2 metres apart, don't touch anything. The Covid Era.

It was October 2020 and we still hadn't seen the back of Covid 19. In the UK we were actually in the 2nd wave and new tiered rules were about to be announced.
The previous July, when it seemed things would start getting back to normal, I released a new painting Social Distance Standing with Mask of a lone figure on an empty, quite desolate, background.
This is another painting in the series. This time, as the title suggests, the figure is sitting down on the ground. Still with the empty background suggesting a harsh environment.
