Green Turtleneck Painting

A portrait painting, in acrylics and soft pastel, of a young lady wearing a green turtleneck sweater. The turtleneck is pulled over her mouth, you can just about see her upper lips. Her long brown hair flows over the left side of the pullover. She stares back at the viewer.

The vibrant orange of the background in this portrait goes so well with the green of the jumper, there are hints of the same orange in her brown hair.

The painting is a mix of acrylics and soft pastels. I really like this combination, nice intense colours plus a bit of texture.
